Lenovo today introduced its “e” netbooks, the IdeaPad S9e and S10e netbooks. Designed for mobile users from all walks of life, the new netbooks combine the portability of a small and light PC device starting under 1.2kg with Internet and multimedia functionality at an affordable price.Lenovo offers a variety of customization options including hardware technologies, software and flexible warranties to fit individual needs. Users can choose from either the 8.9-inch or 10.1-inch LED backlit display sizes on the IdeaPad S9e and S10e netbooks, respectively. Choices of operating systems include Microsoft Windows XP Home, XP Pro or Novell SLED 10 Linux. Designed to handle the rigors of mobile computing, the netbooks come equipped with a 4 GB solid state drive for reliability or a hard drive up to 160 GB.The IdeaPad S9e and S10e netbooks will be available starting at the end of November through Lenovo and Lenovo Business Partners.
