Part 1 - Hardware
This is the hardware I used:
The PSU:

This is FPS (the manufacturer of Fortron) 215W. Its fan is 120 mm, but the dimensions are somewhat strange. By initial design the PSU was a rather small 90 watt, but had to change the planned motherboard and it turned out that the PSU just wouldnt be sufficient. The planned PSU was twice smaller than the used one, which led to a lot of problems when the project advanced, but more for that later on

USB connectors for the front panel.

And the motherboard itself. Albatron KM400. Not good enough for overclocking, but managed to do extra 200 MHz. Its dimensions are 240x240 mm. The planned one was 240x200 which again led to many problems. But it was Slot 1, EX440 and I had the opportunity to sell it good riddance.

Some pictures of the cooler. Thermal Take, aluminum radiator with copper base.

The CPU, Athlon 2000+

And the CPU fan UV reactive Vantek.

VC my old, trustworthy GeForce 2 MX 400. This must be at least my fifth computer which uses this very card

Had some RAM sinks left, decided to use them. Didnt help much though

This is the keyboard. A bit of luck here exactly what I was looking for to be suitable for the case. Later probably will mod it too. The board looks rather awkward, but is in fact quite comfortable. I am able to play Quake without any troubles, it is way better than my other keyboard large, lots of media buttons, but rather poorly built

And the mouse. Leftovers from my previous mod. Completely in line with the whole idea. Probably will mod it too later on
