Part 8 - Fan controller - knobs

These are the knobs for the fan controller. How it is made I described in a separate article: (http://www.modreactor.com/How-To-Guides/how-to-make-diobus-fan-control-guide.html).

First I cut the clear part from 6 mm acrylic:

Then I cut the non-transparent part from 3 mm black, mirror acrylic:

Glue the two parts together:

Some testing of the lighting::

Extensions were needed to mount the knobs to the switches. I cut them from the 6 mm clear acrylic:

Some more extensions were needed:

When the fan controller is ready, the clear part will be lighted with green diodes.
