Episode 2 - The legacy of the ancients

This is a strange, round device of unknown purpose. Obviously the ancient ones had strange taste or had troubled color sense:

This is some art contraption of some sort most probably, produced from numerous strings, called according to ancient language "cables". Our ancestors had strange art, but probably if we can get some insight into it we also can comprehend their strange and foreign life:

This photograph very much resembles a part of strange art form, which the ancient ones called "science fiction movie". There is a story told about another civilization, which obviously used vehicles, resembling the one on the picture, and lived on another planet - abominable thought - everybody knows we live on flat world, which is covered with the celestial cover over which the big brother every evening paints the stars and every morning uses it as a bowl i which he washesh his face and at the same time readies it for his painting endeavors:
