Yes , i dont have a lathe either but some parts require it. For example the hard plastic rings, that will assure the movement of the shields through the joints.

Or the fitting between the frame and the tail.

Both were again created swiftly and precisly. The rings mind you still needed some work in order to be completed. I made cuts in four places on the spots where the joints will be attached. The task squeezed all of my patience, the plastic is fragile i did not want to break it.

And a laser, for two parts that will assure that the body is attached to the frame.

The space between them i decided to fill with cardboard. Cut by shape and tightened it was sort of fine, untill i remember the summer repairs and the insulating foam. A material i enjoy working with.

The joints for the shields as I stated were part of umbrella. One of the fixating points had an opening, for the other i had to make one after cutting it to size.
