Page 5 - Performance: SiSoft Sandra Lite XII.SP2c
Synthetic tests most accurately depict the difference in performance between the small timing and frequency changes. First of all let's check the results from SiSoft Sandra Lite XII.SP2c - overall performance test and then a latency test. Latency is merely the time it takes the memory to return requested information.

More memory (4GB VS 2GB) doesn't give much advantage in this test. Lower timings of A-Data Vitesta Extreme Edition DDR2 800MHz show slightly higher performance opposed to mainstream 2x1GB DDR2 800MHz. It's noticeable that TRAS timing, which at 1066MHz is 12, and at 1111MHz is 15, has a much bigger influence than the 45Mhz higher frequency and so the memory overclocked at 1066MHz with 5-5-5-12 timings was slightly faster.
