While evaluating the overall performance of A-Data Vitesta Extreme Edition DDR3 1600MHz 2x1GB, we must inevitably compare it to rival products in the same class. Shortly its pros and cons are as follows:

• Good performance
• Good overclock potential (1800MHz 8-9-8-24)
• Swell heat spreaders that improve the chips heat dispersing
• Extraordinary price gravitating around 130$ for a kit of two, one of the cheapest DDR3 1600MHz ones in this segment.
• Lifetime warranty
• Big and cool box (should you are in to these things or you're obtaining the memory as gift for someone)

• If you are gamer you'll not get higher performance from this memory

To be completely honest, in this particular case we must must also say few words for whether and when you should choose not the current model but DDR3 with similar stats as whole. As a drawback we must point the fact that the memory being targeted at gamers actually does not provide better performance. We cannot stress this issue strongly enough - Pick your memory according to the platform, DO NOT choose platform according to memory! And from now on it's just kind words from us, justly indeed on A-Data's Vitesta EE behalf! The memory comes at great price - 1600MHz kit from another famous brand would cost about 20% more. It also has good overclock potential and should it be used by professionals with memory demanding (and depending) applications it will be just the right one! And so, we deem 9.5/10 marks necessary and Excellencewell deserved!
