Page 3 - Testing Methods
In order to accurately determine the A-Data Vitesta Extreme Edition DDR3 1600MHz performance, we choose tests of different nature and purpose. Some of the test you'll see (SiSoft Sandra and Everest Ultimate) show precisely what is the transfer speed of the memory as well as its latency. It's a fact though that not many people nowadays are interested in plain numbers. That's why synthetic tests were also includes as well as some real ones for fully comparing it to other DDR2 and DDR3 memory.
