age 8 - Performance: Crysis Warhead, Far Cry 2
Crysis Warhead
The Crysis continuation. Crytek claims that a bit more effects are added as well as some engine optimization.HOCBench are to blame for the easy and systematic result gathering from the game:
you need to upgrade your flash player
With Core 2 Duo and 8800GT the difference between DDR2 800MHz and DDR3 1800MHz in Crysis Warhead is... zilch. If only we were able to provide even more precise measurements you would be able to see the exact amount - under one frame per second.
Far Cry 2
The Far Cry was made by Crytek and was later succeeded by Crysis. But Crytek sold all rights of Far Cry to Ubisoft, so the engine of Far Cry 2 had nothing to do with Crysis and was developed separately.

The game is quite beautiful, while still lighter than Crysis. Considering the high settings we made, results are excellent even with relatively cheap card from generation past (8800GT).
