Page 10 – XviD, DivX and MP3 compression
AutoGK is a program for compressing all kinds of video formats with XviD and DivX codecs. Multi-threading is available. For the test we used XviD и DivX compression of a 1024MB .VOB file, targeting a end file of a 100MB .AVI in the appropriate codec.

Quite evidently the difference between Pentium E2140 and Celeron E1200 was hardly noticeable. The cache made no difference here.
LАМЕ MТ
As the name suggests, this is the famously known software for audio encoding in LAME, with multi-threading support. We used the benchmark with the supplied 20MB .WAV fail, compressed in .MP3 of course.

We must admit the test is inadequate. The time you see is approximated (meaning 5.9 seconds were interpreted as 5, while 6.0 would be full 6). Next time we'll try encoding whole album. Despite this just like in the video encoding the cache here is of little difference, thus the results would be very similar.
