Page 6 – Synthetic tests

We decided to begin with synthetic tests, tests that give a general idea for the processors performance. The first is 3DMark06 from Futuremark, very popular choice for video cards, he is also very CPU (processor) dependent. The test has a very good multi-threading support and the difference between single core, dual core an quad core processors is quite notable.
