Very few products nowadays do supply everything their manufacturers claim they do. But this is just the case, Coolink has no claims of being the best on the market. The company promises quiet and effective cooler at very acceptable price and this is exactly what you get. GFXChilla is the prefect replacement for the stock piece of metal on your cards core, and it would cost you only 30$ in USA (should be under 40 Leva when available in Bulgaria). Its main characteristics are:
Pros:
- Excellent performance for its money
- Beats the stock cooler by a lot
- Noiseless
- Did we mentioned the awesome price?
- Detailed manual
- Very good thermal paste
- Radiators not only for the memory chips, but for lots of others too
Cons:
- Radiators don't stick to the chips without the help of magic glue :)
- Not available in Bulgaria for the time being
It's not very often that here at ModReactor we give marks over 9/10 and this is one of the products that deserves the editor's award. Yep, Coolink GFXChilla is my personal favorite and since it's on my personal card, I'm not taking it off for more than a test of a different cooler. It deserves 9.5/10 (sadly we take off a half mark because of the non sticking radiators). Still we recommend as strongly as we can the GFXChilla to every hardware enthusiast and silence lover.
Many thanks to Coolink, kindly supplying us with this product, thus making this review possible.
