DPF-080, DPF-081, digital photo frames from Sapphire |

With the ever more spreading digital photography, a new class of products is gathering popularity – digital picture frames. In this review we'll look on two Sapphire products, which vary only in form and respectively resolution of their TFT screens, namely the DPF-080 and the DPF-081.
For the past year the digital picture frames had evolved quite a lot. There are lots of models with big screens and higher resolutions. A lot of new manufactures emerged too, our partners from Solytrade
provided us with 2 such frames, made by the famous company Sapphire. DPF-080 is with 8” TFT matrix, resolution of 800õ600 and picture aspect of 4:3. On the other hand DPF-081 has the same frame the same 8”sixe but an aspect of 16:9 and a resolution of 800õ480. The recommended end user prices for both are 229 leva (~115 Euro) for DPF-080 (4:3) and 216 leva (~108 Euro) for DPF-081 (16:9). Let's see now what are they capable of and how is their price reasoned compared to their overall performance.
