Page 2 – DPF-101
DPF-101 uses the same format and package as its smaller brothers DPF-080 and DPF-081. The size is the same only the pictures and the weight are different. Again we are witnessing high quality packaging, each surface is covered by protective foil, each part is packed separately.
These are the box contents:
- Digital photo frame;
- Power adapter;
- Mini USB cable;
- User manual;
- Remote controll;
- Additional power adapter bits
The frame properties are as follows:

Now for the frame itself. Sapphire had bet again on the same black polished acrylic panel. Its size is the same but due to the bigger screen the colour panels are gone, we personally miss them and find this design a tad "boring", though that's rather personal opinion. Not the most convenient place, but there they are clearly visible and you don't have to rely solely on the remote. On the right side are placed the openings for various memory cards. On the left is a stereo jack for headphones, mini USB for connecting to PC and USB connector for external memory. On the bottom is only the power jack.
The stand is the same and as we have already stated it doesn't have the most comfy design, it's kept in place by a single screw, but there is a dent for fixing it in place and after tightening the screw it provides enough stability. It also allows setting different angles for the frame, both horizontally and vertically. There are holes on the back that allow wall mounting as well. Again, there in the back are the two speakers and the openings, which are combined – for sound and cooling.
Since the connectors for external memory are on the back, they aren't easily accessible, but that's the only way if we want the frame to look like a ordinary picture frame from the front..
