Page 2 - Closer look

Evercool Buffalo comes in a black box, with a picture of the product, the product's specs and so on – pretty standart stuff. Inside the cooler is well protected with 2 plastic fittings one on the bottom and one on top, and besides the box leaves a lot of empty room inside, with which to protect it better. As you can see from the pictures its journey here wasn't easy, but the product was intact. The yellow text on the front of the box bears interest, which reads: „The "Bull" will give you extreme performance”. Let's hope so (the performance, not the bull):

Inside the box we find the cooler itself. You can clearly see the two heatpipes. The radiator fins are put closely together. On the one hand this contributes to a better cooling, but we expect a louder running. As for the ventilator itself – it's mostly red, but the blade design is noticeable. It's easy to notice, that the vent works on lower RPM to reduce the noise, and in the mean time it's designed to move more air:

Also in the box we find an Evercool CPU paste, although it doesn't really look much. You can also see how Buffalo compares to a 120mm vent in size:

You can also see how the "Bullfight" design looks. Overall the stamp looks a bit shabby . Also it's noticeable the rough welds between the heatpipes and the base, which in term, as you can see, isn't polished well at all. Overall the worksmanship looks cheap, it's interesting how this bears in the tests to come:
