Alu Book II has a stylish design, in this case in black. Its surface has a mirror polish. On the back of the case are placed the USB and eSATA connectors, the power plug, on/off switch and button for quick archive of the disk. On the opposite side, the front panel has a nice tribal styled logo. The left side of the case bears the Revoltec logo, while the right has feet so you could use the case in a horizontal position should you choose to. As whole Alu Book II is just slightly bigger than standard 3.5” hard drive, this Revoltec product is indeed a stylish, small and quality one.

Despite its size the case stand is stable and well designed – it grips the case firmly and doesn't allow it to be easily tripped. The case itself with a disk inside is heavy and stable and even though the cables are thick and hard, stability is not compromised. On the photos below you can see the mirror finish of the case, as well as the white back light of the front panel logo. The white is quite pleasing, unlike the nauseating blue that can be found anywhere, it truly is a swell match for the black and silver of the Alu Book II. The logo is evenly lit, while not being too bright, thus it won't bother you in the dark, indeed a nice touch that is. The only thing about it is that should you want to turn it off, you'll have to open the case in order to do so. The additional cleaning cloth with the Revoltec logo is a fine thing too, the mirror finish aluminum surface of the case very easy picks up dust and fingerprints that you can spot a mile away.
