Every serious hardware enthusiast knows that a good PSU is essential for an reliable computer. And since in the last few years power demands from various computer components rose substantially, the cheap Chinese PSU market share had shrunk tangibly. Many of the well known hardware companies had stepped on to PSU market. One such is GlacialTech, and even though they are common name in our markets for the past decade, their branch GlacialPower definitely isn't. So, here it is for you - GlacialPower GP-AL Series 650W.
Well known fact is that GlacialTech are not famous for being top-class manufacturer. Typical for the most Taiwanese manufacturers are the low quality products, having bad, yet colorful boxes with incomplete manuals, most often in rather poor English. Well, GlacialPower GP-AL 650W does not match this stereotype at all, actually it inspires confidence at first sight.

So far everything looks excellent! Besides, the PSU is highly effective (above 80%), which is good both for the environment and your electricity bill. And it even complies with all worldwide accepted quality control standards (EU, USA and China standards)and has all the necessary protections: SCP, OVP, OCP, OPP, OTP. Now let's look at it closer and see if it still seems that good.
