In the first cooler review at ModReactor we take a look at the new GlacialTech Igloo 5750 Silent - heatpipe based cooling that GlacialTech claim it offers great bang for buck.

GlacialTech Igloo 5750 SILENT review

In the past the Igloo series coolers from GlacialTech were rather popular for their low price, excellently low noise levels and their formidable performance, considering the two above mentioned factors. We are pleased to say that the company policy had nod changed a bit to this day. The only difference is that due to the poor import for our market it's much harder to get your hands on one of their coolers.

GlacialTech kindly supplied us for this test with the newest addition to the Igloo family - Igloo 5750 Silent.

First let's see what the coolers offers (on paper for the time being).

GlacialTech Igloo 5750 Silent official specifications

Noise level 15.2 dBA for each fan

According to the back of GlacialTech Igloo 5750 Silent box, the cooler offers more or less this:

  • Low weight and High performance while being noiseless
  • Easy to install
  • Support for all modern processors, including the most powerful quad-core Phenom and Intel Core 2 Extreme QX6850 (130W)

But that's enough paper facts for this review, let's see how GlacialTech Igloo 5750 Silent looks like :)
