Page 4 - Performance
At last the moment you've been waiting for - test results. As it's already clear we tested with a quad-core Intel Q6600, first at default voltages and frequency, and then with a hefty overclock. The cooler was compared to to the only available to us at the moment ZALMAN 9500 - a wholly copper cooler from totally different price range. In the following few days we'll update the graphs with results from 1-2 more coolers, including a box Q6600 one.

On default settings the cooler performed as expected. Under a load it had pleasant temperatures while still being totally silent.

Overclock!!! It's a sin to keep such a processor at frequencies under 3.2GHz, even with the box cooler. We ran it at the quite ordinary 3420MHz (380x9) at 1.425V. GlacialTech Igloo 5750 SILENT again performed well, with average temperature around 63 градуса (everything under 80 degrees and voltage under 1.55V for the Intel Core 2 Quad is considered safe for prolonged use). During the testing inly the lights suggested that anything is working. The ZALMAN had a good lead, while because of it's design it "sucked" air through the Circu-Pipe cooling of the MSI motherboard, placed above the P7N SLI Platinum chipset (which is quite hot, mind you). The box cooler performed equal to Igloo 5750 as far as temperatures go, but right after the beginning of the test it began to roar unpleasantly (and we mean ROAR!).
