Page 15 - Conclusion
Summing it all up for MSI N280GTX Super OC, few facts must be annotated and repeated:
Pros:
- Extraordinary performance
- One of the fastest NVIDIA 280GTX models ever
- Rich bundle, nice game in it
- Allows use NVIDIA PhysX & CUDA, which are used more often in games and other applications
- Allows 3-way SLI (in case you really have no better use for your money)
- Well designed cooler
- Long warranty - 3 years
Cons:
- Rather poor price/performance ratio
It's not that MSI N280GTX Super OC is no good. Thing is it's just not for everybody. On the other hand we speak of class in which all that matters is performance, class the customers of which are interested less in the price than in obtaining the very best. If you are one of those people, that's probably your card - unquestionably the fastest single core NVIDIA model on the market. The new core architecture provides bunch of options, options that in time will become steadily available to the common user. At the same time MSI had done their part and provided you with card with rich bundle and long warranty. Still should money be decisive factor for you, keep away from that class of hardware, instead search for lower model, like HD4870 for example, a card that has much better price/performance ratio.
