Page 7 - Conclusion
Pros
- Small
- Very good screen
- Comfy resolution
- Stylish design
- Big hard drive (in data volume that is)
- Big keyboard (now this one is bid in size :)
- Longevity (with 6 cell battery)
- Well protecting sleeve
Cons
- A tad pricey
- Still available only with standard battery (3 cell)
- Horrible integrated speakers
- „Cheap” looking sleeve
MSI Wind is truly one of the best products in its class. It has stylish design, big screen, keyboard and despite that - compact size. This is one finely performing notebook that will not hog the free space in your bag and will allow you to work anywhere. It has all of the characteristics of its bigger brethren – wireless, Bluetooth, Ethernet, integrated webcam, microphone, 80 GB disk and so on. We were disappointed in only three things about it - the high price, the horrible speakers and the 3 cell battery. In reality if you could get MSI Wind with 6 cell battery at a reasonable price you will have the best in this class. Till then, with the current setup we can only recommend it,but not give it the „the king of subnotebook class” rating.
Many thanks to our friends from
MSI
, that made this review possible.
