Page 3 - 9600 GT in pictures

As usual we start off with packaging and contents:

The card is referent and as with most referent models the contents ain't nothing special. The nice shiny box of Point of View, besides the card itself contains a driver CD, book with installation instructions on god knows how many languages, power supply cable, DVI->DUB9 and DVI->HDMI adapters. This is all fine for tight budget users and overclock enthusiasts, wanting to get the cheapest card possible and overclock it to a higher model, instead of buying "special" version with raised work frequencies for a higher price.

Here is the cars, it's size and cooling are absolutely identical with those of the referent 8800 GT. For a more accurate comparison you can look at these pictures.

And now to the peep show :)

The connection between the core and the cooler is made by the perfect amount of thermal paste, while the memory has the typical thermal stickers. Nothing unusual, the version of the core is G94-300-A1, we point it out, since it's very likely that later another card based on it will appear, but it surely will be having different frequencies or/and some cut version of the chip (it would be likely marked differently).

Now let's see our test configuration...
