Usually when talking about extreme overclock, we are talking about extreme cooler too. The well known Austrian fellows from Noctua send us NH-U12P, a cooler that tries to supply extreme cooling while remaining silent. Well, our previous experience with this brand suggests that they know how to do it, but let's see what will the direct contact show.
Noctua is a company with history and traditions in designing and manufacturing coolers. The company emerges as the result of the cooperation between the Austrian Rascom Computerdistribution Ges.m.b.H institute and the Taiwanese Koolink (the products of which are known to the end user by the famous Coolink brand, an excellent coolers that we had previously tested on more than one occasion here at ModReactor). All Noctua products are designed, tested and approved in Austria, thus the end user receives only approves and well crafted products. This is one of the reasons that I was so exited upon receiving the NH-U12P. The second is that the cooler is based on the famous high-performance coolers from the NH-U series and uses the magnificent Noctua - NF-P12 fan, that we already reviewed here at ModReactor about two months agoHERE.
But instead of detailed descriptions let's see the cooler specifications:
