Pros:
  • Extremely quiet, the fan was inaudible within the closed computer case, even without using any of the noise reducing adapters
  • Excellent performance
  • Capable to increase performance even further, by adding a second fan
  • Nice appearance
  • High quality thermal paste
  • Nice screwdriver along with everything else you need
  • Universal mounting

Cons:
  • High price

In the end Noctua NH-U12P is one excellent cooler. The big, well crafted radiator comes paired with one of the best fans we've ever laid eyes on - NF-P12, a fan giving the combo capabilities for great overclock at absolute quietness. If the noise isn't the decisive factor for you, there is the option of adding a second fan in Push/Pull operation mode, with which you'll gain few more degrees, and along with all this you still get a full set of bonus stuff, like parts for mounting of the most recent processors, thermal paste and even screwdriver, so there is nothing left to worry about. If the prices suits you, then we can do nothing else but wholeheartedly recommend the NH-U12P.

Many thanks to Noctua, that supplied us with the product and made this review possible.
