Cons:
- Low resolution (0.48 Mpix sensor);
- The retention clip is not very comfortable for use as a stand;
- Not very sensitive microphone.
If you are looking for small camera for your laptop, don’t need high resolutions, but would like a quality product from good manufacturer and have limited budget, the StarCam Clip is your webcam – you get high build quality, stylish design and standard performance for the target range of the product at medium price.

MSI StarCam Racer is for those of you who are looking for a product with interesting design, autofocus, night mode and high resolutions for videoconferencing with high quality. Beside that you get sufficient bundle of additional features at a very competitive price. The build quality and performance of the StarCam Racer is high, which makes it a well reasoned buy. The only thing that will disappoint you is if you are looking for professional videoconferencing – 1.3 MPix sensor just isn’t enough for such applications.
