Page 5 - Conclusion
Here are in short the pros and cons of the Cooler Master Hyper Z600
Pros:
- Absolutely silent (0db) work in passive mode
- Great performance
- Possibility to increase performance with 1 or 2 120mm vents
- Stylish, even majestic look :)
- High quality thermal paste in the kit
- Universal mounting method
- Great price for it's quality, at around 55$ at the time of testing
Cons:
- Bulky, can't fit in every PC case
- Heavy, can damage the motherboard if not careful
- Hard to install
Looking at it's cons - having in mind that installing it is done only once, and any user would do it with care, it's most likely that there will be anyone who can't make it. On the other hand if your PC case is a bit larger (the cooler in fact targets the hardware junkie consumer group, and they rarely have a small case if it's air cooled), then most definitely Cooler Master Hyper Z600 should be on the top of your "to buy" list. You have to consider though a ventilator, we used a silent one, but if noise doesn't bother you, you can achieve incredible results! We sincerely recommend this cooler and give it a mark "Recommended" and 9/10 points on our scale for quality, performance and simple installation.
