Quite few people believe that everyday comfortable work requires a fine keyboard. Just now one such product lies before us in need of evaluation. A promising product created in such a way that not only fulfills the desires of the ones needing ergonomic keyboard, but also meets the demands of the people searching for stylish, comfortable and multi-functional product, capable of doing... just about anything :)

Logitech were founded in the distant 1981, and its creators and company's history had shaped one of the most used computer accessories - the computer mouse. Nowadays the company specializes in manufacturing of various computer peripherals, including mice, keyboards, gaming devices such as mouse pads and joysticks, speakers, wireless devices and so on. It's very unlikely that there is anyone using computer that haven't at least heard of them.

At the same time Logitech is amongst the companies that wield a wide variety of product classes (differing by price). The company makes both ultra expensive, innovative and full of extra capabilities products and dirt cheap ones. Yet all of their products are well known for their excellent quality, longevity, long and reliable warranty and rich and well tended software.

The particular product in this review, namely Logitech Wave is something more than a mere keyboard. The company claims that the keyboard was created to conform naturally to your fingers, allowing constant comfort even after hours of use. And at the same time the keyboard stands up to aesthetics criteria offering luxury in a quantities big enough to satisfy the high demands of gamers or to make the days of a cubicle worker much brighter :)

Logitech Wave is sold in two variations - wired (like the model that we're testing) and wireless set, paired with a mouse. On one hand Logitech Wave has the relatively high price of ~50$ (for the wired), on the other hand it could be targeted in the mid-high class of Logitech products, since they make keyboards with prices ranging form ~10$ to over 150$.

The major Logitech Wave features are these:

  • Contoured wave-shaped key design conforms naturally to your fingers.

  • A curved profile and uniform-size keys promoting an ergonomically correct, more comfortable hand position.
  • Soft surface encouraging a relaxed position for long typing sessions.
  • Adjustable keyboard height allowing through three-way tilt legs to set the height to suit your personal style
  • Audio cable management by routing the cables through the channel on the underside of the keyboard
